Category & Chapter Dues Information Membership categories listed in the Constitution are defined as follows: 1. Certified Members - Certified membership shall be open to all persons holding a current certificate issued by a certification agency recognized by ASCET. 2. Regular Members - Regular membership shall be open to all engineering technicians and technologists who have a minimum of two (2) years engineering technology experience attested to by education, experience and endorsement from a current supervisor; or a two- or four-year degree from an accredited engineering technology program. 3. Registered Members - Registered membership shall be open to all persons holding a State license or registration to practice as an engineer or land surveyor. 4. Retired Members - Those who have attained a minimum age of 65, or by reason of health or employment circumstances are unable to continue full-time employment. 5. Student Members - Membership is open to all students who are currently enrolled in an engineering technology program. 5A. May not hold the office of National Director, President or Vice President. 6. Honorary Lifetime Members - Those who have held a Chapter Board Member position for at least a two year term & retired from the industry. Annual Chapter dues for each membership category are: 1. Certified ............................... $ 50.00 2. Regular ................................. $ 50.00 3. Registered ........................... $ 50.00 4. Retired .................................. $ 25.00 5. Student ................................. $ 10.00 6. Honorary ....................... $ FREE (Lifetime) Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st. When you re-new it is for one year. You have 30 days grace period to re-new then a $10.00 late fee is applied. Your Chapter Treasurer will notify you via E-MAIL with your pro-rated dollar amount. REGISTRATION FORM FOR NEW MEMBERS.

GOOD STANDING
All chapter members in good standing are eligible to vote and to hold elective office unless otherwise specified. All chapter members should be members in good standing of ASCET National. Only a member whose dues are paid for the current fiscal year is considered a member in good standing. A member whose dues are not paid for the current year by March may be removed from the mailing list. A member not in good standing for a period of twelve (12) months will have membership terminated. A member who has been dropped from the membership for non-payment of dues may be reinstated by remitting the full amount of the current annual dues for the appropriate membership category. The Treasurer shall direct the billing of all members on a schedule approved by the Executive Board.
