Connecticut Chapter of ASCET
Established 2014
* Message from our Past President - Brian Weir (2013 - 2018) *
" CT Chapter of ASCET Board and Members:
A final note from my tenure as Chapter President: My stepping down from my position as President brings both happiness and sadness, i.e. I am happy in that I am excited to embark on my new professional career journey in a new industry and at the same time sad that I have to leave the CT Chapter and all the quality friends and acquaintances I have made being involved in it throughout the years. As everyone should be aware at this point, I sincerely enjoyed my time with the CT Chapter of ASCET and from the very initial stages working with Phil Gaughan of National and local, fellow founding member Jim Kline (now retired) to all the people of the CT Chapter (too many to list) who have stepped up and filled positions, attended meetings and were active chapter members, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I am so happy to know that given the talent in our membership, the future of this chapter looks positive for many years to come and I am proud to say that I played a role in the success of this very worthy organization. I plan on coming to a meeting (here or there) to say hello to all the friends I've made through the years and hopefully meet some new people too! I wish the new chapter president, Kyle Watterworth, the board, and the entire chapter at large the best of luck and continued success in all of its future endeavors in ASCET and NICET. Please remember that the success of the chapter relies on everyone's participation whether you are a board member, retiree, or a voting member who attends meetings and events only, it all counts for the good of the chapter! Well goodbye to all of you for now and as I stated earlier, I'm leaving you in great, capable hands and I feel the future looks bright for the CT Chapter! Keep the fire burning and see you all down the road... "
